About the Author

Michael White holds a dual baccalaureate degree in English and history from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, and a Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology, Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia. He has served as a pastor since 21 June 1984, and he has been faithfully preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 6 March 1978.

Mike has authored six books to date and numerous other articles and devotionals for various publications. He has posted many of these on his Web site at www.parsonplace.com. In April 2006, Mike became the founder and managing editor of Parson Place Press, an independent Christian publishing house.

Mike is married to Ellen. They have two children, Amy and Joshua, and three grandchildren, Makenzie, Connor, and Aiden.
